Police told Local24 the matter is being handled as an active homicide investigation. Police have not identified a suspect or provided additional details on the nature of Grissom's death. Grissom's daughter, Devin, rose to fame in as the star of the CMT show, a Southern version of "The Bachelorette," the long-running dating show. The show was filmed in Point Clear, Alabama. Grissom recently married Nashville realtor Jameson Roper.
Then you have to wait after that. In the meantime, Grissom is back in Tuscaloosa, preparing for sorority rush, which begins this weekend, with her Phi Mu sorority sisters. Though there are pangs of regret from time to time when she sees guys she let go.
All she saw of the guys was what she saw when they were together, not when they were with the other guys. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.

I went into it hoping it would work but from other shows I've watched in the past, I think maybe three out of the 20 different attempts they've had [at finding love] have actually worked.
But I went in with high hopes and an open mind and I think it turned out really well. Things are going really good with me and the guy right now. It's going to be really different once we can go out in public and see how our relationship turns out when we are in real life! How will you avoid falling into the trap of reality couples who break up? I think that I and the guy I chose have good heads on our shoulders and know how to handle things well.
We don't really want to fall into that publicity-type field. We just want to be able to spend our time together in a normal way. So we won't be seeing you on TV again? Definitely not! Was this show more about finding someone to date rather than finding a husband? There is no proposal at the end. It was more trying to find love in the South and finding Mr Right.
I don't think a proposal is something you need to rush into at all. We'll see how our relationship grows when we can be normal and things like that, but we're not engaged at the moment. What qualities were you looking for in a boyfriend when you began filming?
Definitely one of the most important things for me was feeling I could completely be myself with them, which is hard to do when there are cameras around. The final guys definitely made me feel the most comfortable. We kind of started with more of a friendship before anything else developed, and I think it's important to develop a comfort and a trust.
That's the foundation for any relationship. Will you stay friends with the guys you didn't choose? I'm already pretty much best friends with a lot of the guys.
