Rayna James was Nashville. After she was hit by a car, the show devoted an entire episode where family and friends said goodbye.
Stein was shot in the back. Jax merged with Stein again and got him to Earth 1, but the damage was done. As long as they were linked, they would both die so Stein begged Jax to sever their connection and let him die. As someone who hates house fires, this one got to me. Jack dies from too much smoke inhalation. The Pearson home is on fire due to a faulty Crock- Pot, and he not only gets his family out, but runs back in for the family dog. In the Season 8 midseason premiere, Carl died. We were shown flashbacks of Carl being bitten by while dispatching walkers, and how infected they were.
During the hour, he made tearful goodbyes to his family, and in the end, he ended his suffering by shooting himself in the end. Hopper died in the Season 3 finale in the Starcourt Mall explosion while trying to close the gate the Russians had opened to the Upside Down.
It was right that the two people who loved her more than anyone discussed it first. Michael was at Denise's side when he made the call to Emmalin. After the death of her sister and one of her best friends, Denise's son, Jeremy, breaking the news about her mother had to be one of the most difficult calls he ever had to make.
So each character talked with the next to pass on the news of Claudia Joy's death. The first flashback to Claudia Joy and Kim Delaney who played her was Roland remembering the day of his daughter's birth, Claudia Joy at their side. Until that moment, none of the characters seemed genuinely affected by the death, as if it was difficult to pretend it was unexpected given Kim Delaney's rumored behavior that brought her character's demise about.
Jackie, who had the most difficult relationship with Claudia Joy on the show when she moved to Fort Marshall, seemed to find the greatest loss in their friend's death. I didn't take the time to think that Denise's breaking point would come upon hearing Frank's voice. It will be their relationship that will be the driving force on Army Wives now that Claudia Joy is gone. They will be the couple the younger group looks up to, and they've made so much headway in recent seasons that it's greatly deserved.
It was so weird when Frank called Michael, because despite their friendship and the nature of the call, Frank called him "sir" while sending him well wishes. I suppose one will never truly understand the military unless they are a part of it. In the obligatory salute to fans past, Roxy and Pamela returned to Fort Marshall at the news of her death and amidst everything else, made promises to keep in contact with each other, come what may. Although we'll likely never see their friendship continue, we can take heart in knowing it will never die.
There would be no funeral for Claudia Joy, but a simple celebration of her life with her closest friends in attendance. I will miss Claudia Joy. I hope the show can continue. I think they could have chose someone else to write off. Leave the main characters alone, they are the ones that make the show. I was in tears to see such a great character killed off.
Claudia Joy was the one character in the show who bonded everyone together. I doubt Brooke Shields can fill those shoes. I cannot foresee whether I will continue being a true fan or not, only time will tell.
But I must agree, this was a poor decision made by the production. God speed Army Wives! I hope she gets the help that she needs, please keep Roxy and. Trevor we need them. I hope the show goes on. She was the heart and soul of Army Wives. Anyone with a pulse knows that Kim Delaney has a drinking problem. So why not try again to help her and not kick her to the curb. Good luck with your rebooted show. She was the core of the wives and now what.. I think she was the wrong person to kill off also.
What can we do? I feel the reason they killed of Jeremy is to show how evil war can be,and how difficult it is for parents to bury their children. They are not living in a rose garden,and military families must realize this when your country is at war. Do not like the fact that Kim is no longer on the show, and do not like it that Pam and Roxie are also gone.
I will not watch the show any longer. You get a good show going that everyone likes and then you change all the characters, which is stupid. Did she leave because she wanted more money? Or did she do it for the good of the show.
There are plenty of good stars to revolve the show around. I like everyone on the show. Each has there own star qualities, and that is why I think the show is so great. There seems to be a lot of teamwork involved putting this kind of show together.
I was already upset that Roxy, Trevor and Pamela were barely on anymore and now this! I really like to know the reason behind why Claudia Joy Kim is no longer on the show, her choice or the stupid writers and producers? She is the reason I tuned in the first place. What a mistake to kill of Claudia Joye and change the format of the great friends we have grown to love.
The show will not be the same. It looks like this will be Army Wives last season. I loved this show and I grieve what has been lost. A whole bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really think it stinks, that Claudia joy had to leave the show.
She was an important part of Army Wives and I loved her character. They are the foundation of the show. All series grow and change, but do not lose their main characters. Do not know if I have an interest in watching the rest of the programs and I really looked forward to this program each week.
The dynamic among the main characters was heart-felt and real. Big mistake. Very open to new characters coming on board, but the way these characters have grown and changed it what made this work. Extremely disappointed! Each season someone leaves this show, please let the viewers know what is going on. Claudia Joy was a the main character and now she is gone. The story line is just tragedy after tragedy. How much must one town go through?
Unfortunately I think this is the beginning of the end. The first 2 episodes were so sad it was awful. I like Denise but she is really alone. Would love to know what really happened with Kim Delaney. Even with the new girls the show wont be the same. They will tell you all about it. It is sad and I am so heartbroken with the way this show is going.

Oh yeah what about Frank and Joan off to again serving in our military overseas? Way too many changes to make one of the best shows a viable show to make it through this season and then return for another.
